Your First Lesson
Want to have your very first lesson in self-defense? You don’t even need to leave your chair. It’s knowing what’s going on around you – situational awareness. Here are the crime reports for Falls Church, Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria. Know what’s going on in your neighborhood, and then come train with us.
Your First Visit
On your first visit, make sure you’re hydrated, and have had something to eat, but not too close to the class you’ve decided to attend. Please come a few minutes early so you will have an opportunity to get situated. When you enter the academy, feel free to introduce yourself to any of the students or teachers that are already there. They’ll show you where The Fighters Garage Contact and Waiver sheet is. Take the time to fill out both sides of the form. When you train with us, you’ll want to wear comfortable gym clothing. If you need to change into your gym clothing we do have changing rooms for you to use. We do ask that initially you go barefoot on our mats.
How To Train
Here’s how you’ll want to train during your initial two weeks at the academy: first, see how you interact with the students and instructors. Ask yourself if you can see yourself training here with our students, and if you can learn from how our instructors teach self-defense. Let’s face it, you’ll only continue training consistently when it’s an academy that you enjoy training at. And remember, when you are training with us, always take care of yourself and your partners. Never train so hard that you’d have to take a few days off before you came in again. We are always aiming at training for the long term, and so we want you to take care of yourself and your training partners.

No Commitment Membership
Not sure you can commit to training for a year, but you do want to learn effective skills and work on fighting fitness, then join us for $150 per month. No further commitments.

One Year Commitment
Ready to start your martial arts journey? Ths is the membership option for you. You can train in all of our self-defense styles – Krav Maga, Kali, and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu – and train as many times as you want to. All for just $99 per month.

One Year Discount Commitment
Want to train with us? Have you served our country in the military, or are you a law enforcement officer, or work for the government? We offer a 10% discount on our unlimited monthly tuition – $89. Come train with us!

One Year Buddy Membership
Have a friend, neighbor, or spouse who wants to train with you? Having a work-out buddy is a great way to train and for consistency. If you both join for a year commitment, you will each pay $75 per month.

Whether you’re looking for a excellent cardio workout or to develop a self defense skill set, Krav Maga is the answer. I once read that the most important self defense skill is the speed in which you can change the shock of a surprise attack into an aggressive, offensive mindset. The instruction and practice at KravWorks help students work towards that end. The techniques they teach are proven to be effective and are not complicated to learn. You use your own reactions and natural body movements to your offensive advantage. I highly recommend it.
